Google Launches Pixel 11 with Extreme Charging Mode

Google launched the Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, introducing an Extreme Charging Mode designed to provide ultra-fast boosts by allowing the device to "focus your phone’s performance entirely on powering up." The company has not disclosed the specific technical mechanics of the mode or the exact battery threshold at which charging speeds begin to throttle.

Standard wired charging speeds remain consistent across the series, with the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Fold supporting 30W, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL supports 45W. All models in the new series now include PixelSnap magnets and support 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging.

Battery capacities across the lineup show mixed changes compared to the previous Pixel 10 series. The base Pixel 11 received a slight capacity increase to 4,985mAh, whereas the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models saw decreases in total battery capacity.
