Kentucky Teachers Retirement System Shifts Portfolio Holdings

The Teachers Retirement System of the State of Kentucky increased its stake in Medline while reducing its position in MongoDB during the first quarter.

The Teachers Retirement System of the State of Kentucky adjusted its institutional portfolio during the first quarter, significantly increasing its position in Medline while trimming its investment in MongoDB, Inc. The system grew its Medline holdings by 138.5%, bringing its total to 157,200 shares valued at approximately $6.99 million. Conversely, it reduced its stake in MongoDB by 20.4%, leaving the system with 41,412 shares worth $10.13 million.

These institutional shifts coincided with insider selling at both companies. Douglas P. Golwas sold 100,000 Medline shares on June 16, and MongoDB Director Dev Ittycheria sold 40,000 shares of his company's stock on June 4.

Despite the divestments, both companies reported strong first-quarter financial results that exceeded consensus estimates. Medline posted $0.33 earnings per share on $7.35 billion in revenue, while MongoDB reported $1.32 earnings per share on $687.62 million in revenue.
