Vedanta Aluminium Metal Ltd reported record financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking its debut as an independent listed company following a demerger. The company achieved record revenue, with figures cited between ₹21,105 crore and ₹21,393 crore, and an all-time high EBITDA of ₹10,499 crore, a 134% year-on-year increase.

Profit figures varied across reports, with one source noting a 33.8% sequential increase to ₹5,629 crore, while others reported a 205% year-on-year surge in profit after tax to ₹6,597 crore. Operationally, the company hit a record aluminium production of 632 KT and value-added products production of 389 KT. Following these results, the board approved an interim dividend of ₹8 per equity share, totaling approximately ₹3,129 crore.

Financial stability improved as the company's Net Debt-to-EBITDA dropped to 0.9x, leading CRISIL and ICRA Limited to upgrade its credit rating to AA+ (Stable). To support decarbonization goals, the company also announced a ₹165 crore investment with Serentica Renewable India to integrate a 150 MW battery energy storage system.
