Brink's Agrees to Divest UK Assets for NCR Atleos Deal
The Brink's Company will divest NoteMachine/TestLink UK after the Competition and Markets Authority accepted a remedy to allow its acquisition of NCR Atleos Corporation.
The Brink's Company reached an agreement with the United Kingdom's Competition and Markets Authority to resolve competition concerns regarding its planned acquisition of NCR Atleos Corporation. To avoid a Phase 2 investigation, Brink's will divest NoteMachine/TestLink UK and is currently in talks with several prospective buyers to finalize the sale.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Eubanks stated that the regulator's acceptance in principle of the proposed remedy represents a "significant step forward." The company noted that the divestiture was already factored into its financial metrics and will not affect the $200 million in annual run-rate cost synergies expected within three years of the transaction's completion.
The acquisition of NCR Atleos is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2027.
