FieldAI Raises $700 Million to Reach $10 Billion Valuation

Robotics startup FieldAI raised $700 million in new funding to develop a universal general-purpose brain for autonomous machines in unpredictable environments.

Robotics startup FieldAI raised $700 million in a new funding round, increasing its valuation to $10 billion. This marks a sharp rise from the company's $2 billion valuation following a $400 million round last year that included investments from Khosla Ventures, the Emerson Collective, and the family office of Jeff Bezos.

Founded in 2023, the company develops a universal general-purpose brain intended to allow humanoids, drones, and industrial rovers to operate autonomously in unpredictable environments. FieldAI currently reports more than 30 customers across the defense, construction, and data center sectors, with total revenue and customer contracts exceeding $135 million.

CEO Salman Ali Agha noted that the company has seen "very, very fast growth in the last several months." Based in Irvine and the Bay Area, FieldAI operates in the physical AI sector, competing with other firms such as Skild AI and Physical Intelligence.
