Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah conducted a series of diplomatic engagements on July 29, 2026, aimed at addressing instability in the Middle East. During a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the two officials coordinated efforts to lower regional tensions.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the need to ensure freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and called for the implementation of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding to maintain stability. These discussions focused on achieving a comprehensive agreement to secure lasting peace in the region.

Following these talks, Sheikh Jarrah traveled to Islamabad, Pakistan, for a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and discussed the rapidly evolving security situation in the Middle East.
