Saudi PIF and Microsoft Partner on Sovereign Cloud Services

The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft and the Saudi information technology company SITE to explore the delivery of sovereign-cloud services within the kingdom. The agreement aims to establish a framework for deploying Microsoft's cloud capabilities while maintaining sovereign control over data and infrastructure.

The Public Investment Fund announced the partnership via a post on X on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. SITE, a specialized Saudi IT firm, joins the collaboration as a key local partner to facilitate the integration and delivery of these services.
