Nigel Farage Condemns Alleged Terror Plot and Home Break-in
Nigel Farage warned of rising political violence after learning a man accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe allegedly attempted to break into his home.
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage expressed horror over allegations that Joshua Kerry, a man accused of murdering former politician Ann Widdecombe, also attempted to break into Farage's south London home on April 19, 2025.
Kerry, 28, faces charges of murder and preparing terrorist acts. A judge at the Old Bailey ruled that these charges are inextricably linked and will be heard together in a five-week trial beginning June 8 next year.
Farage warned that political violence in Britain is increasing and that extremists now view violence as an acceptable means to achieve their goals. He stated that these security threats have forced him to use advance teams for constituency visits and argued that the climate of violence deters talented individuals from entering public life.
