Dylan Taylor Predicts Human Moon Bases by Early 2030s

Dylan Taylor, founder and CEO of Voyager Technologies, predicts that humans will be living and working on the moon by the early 2030s. He envisions the establishment of moon bases where people manage resource mining, power grid construction, and orbital data centers, arguing that humanoid robots cannot be programmed to handle every requirement of lunar operations.

Taylor views the colonization of Mars as a necessary diversification for human survival against potential Earth-based catastrophes, although he acknowledges that terraforming the planet would be a long-term process. His company, Voyager Technologies, is currently developing a replacement for the International Space Station under several NASA contracts.

These projections align with timelines from other industry leaders. Elon Musk has targeted 2028 for the first human arrival on Mars, while Jeff Bezos predicts millions of people will live in space by 2045. Additionally, Sam Altman suggests that new space-based career paths will be available for college graduates within a decade.
