Estée Lauder Raises 2027 Outlook After Strong First Quarter
Estée Lauder Companies raised its fiscal 2027 sales outlook following organic growth in China and a 20% surge in fragrance net sales.
The Estée Lauder Companies raised its full-year fiscal 2027 organic net sales growth outlook to a range of 4% to 5.5% during its first-quarter earnings report on November 2, 2026. The company reported organic sales growth across all geographic regions, including a 15% surge in priority emerging markets and a 9% increase in mainland China, where skin care, makeup, and fragrance all saw gains.
Fragrance net sales grew by 20%, a result of strengthened distribution in Western markets and expansion into the prestige price tier. To further its international reach, the company acquired the remaining stake in the Indian prestige beauty brand Forest Essentials.
To support this recovery, the company completed the approval phase of its Profit Recovery and Growth Plan (PRGP), which aims to simplify the cost base and reduce nonconsumer-facing overhead. Management indicated that the One ELC operating model is intended to restore profitable growth, though they remain cautious regarding macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty.
