Europe's Largest Used Motorbike Retailer SuperBike Factory Files for Administration
SuperBike Factory filed a Notice of Intention to appoint administrators as the company seeks a sale or new investment despite high demand for used motorcycles.
SuperBike Factory, the largest used motorbike retailer in Europe, has filed a Notice of Intention to appoint administrators. Headquartered in Cheshire, the company is reportedly on the brink of administration and is using the filing to gain short-term court protection from creditors.
The company is currently seeking a sale, restructuring, or new investment to avoid collapse. This financial instability comes despite a modest increase in 2024 turnover, which reached approximately £83 million. The growth was largely attributed to high demand for used motorcycles as consumers reacted to the cost-of-living crisis.
SuperBike Factory recently expanded its operations to six destination showrooms. These locations include sites in Macclesfield, Donington Park, Bradford, Bristol, and a newly opened branch in Milton Keynes.
