The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will hold a World Press Conference and National Stakeholders’ Meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, to mark the 100-day countdown to the 2027 General Election. The event is scheduled for 10:00 am at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Led by Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan, the commission will provide updates on the voters' register, candidate nominations, logistics, and critical measures to ensure the integrity of the electoral process. The meeting aims to strengthen transparency and collaborative engagement as the commission enters a critical stage of planning.
