Victura Technologies Plans $300 Million Indian IPO

Victura Technologies has begun preliminary talks with investment banks to raise up to $300 million through an initial public offering in India.

Victura Technologies, a Faridabad-based automotive components manufacturer, has entered preliminary discussions with investment banks to launch an initial public offering in India. The company, which previously operated as Victora Auto, seeks to raise up to $300 million through a mix of new share issuances and sales by existing investors.

While the company is still in the early stages of planning and has yet to appoint formal advisers, the move follows a trend of auto-parts makers like Mahle GmbH and Webasto targeting Indian equity markets. This interest is driven by the fact that Indian auto-parts manufacturers currently trade at a premium compared to global peers and domestic carmakers, owing to higher asset turnover and faster growth prospects.
