Industry experts at the TechPulse MEA 2026 event called for stronger AI governance as enterprises in the Middle East transition from experimentation to strategic deployment. Hosted by the Indian Business & Professional Council in Dubai, the event emphasized that sustainable adoption requires trusted data, workforce reskilling, and robust frameworks to mitigate algorithmic bias, data privacy risks, and cybersecurity threats.

Karthik Raman, Chief Revenue Officer at RevDau and convenor of the TDI Focus Group, opened the proceedings by highlighting the shift in decision-making processes driven by artificial intelligence. The event featured panel discussions and focus groups centered on the transition from general digital transformation to enterprise-wide AI transformation, stressing the need for human oversight and executive accountability when managing hybrid workforces of employees and AI agents.

Aditi Nitin of Deloitte Middle East provided data during her keynote address indicating that the United Arab Emirates is among the fastest global adopters of enterprise AI. Nitin reported that 70% of professionals in the UAE now utilize the technology on a daily basis.
