Peoria Gas Prices Drop to $4.61 Per Gallon

Average gas prices in Peoria, Illinois, fell 4.4 cents over the past week to $4.61 per gallon. A survey of 148 local stations showed prices ranging from $4.36 to $4.79 per gallon. While costs have decreased nearly 22 cents over the last month, they remain $1.47 higher than the October 19, 2025, average of $3.14 per gallon.

GasBuddy reported that this downward trend is mirrored across the state and the country. The Illinois state average fell 4.4 cents to $4.64 per gallon, while the national average dropped 5.5 cents to $4.24 per gallon.

Petroleum analyst Patrick De Haan attributed the recent declines to state fuel tax suspensions and price cycles in specific markets. He noted that geopolitical developments and oil prices continue to influence future pricing.
