Amit Shah Leads BJP Padyatra in Hyderabad

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Hyderabad on November 2 to lead a padyatra as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's nationwide 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' campaign. Before the march, Shah offered prayers at the Sri Bhagya Laxmi Mata temple near Charminar.

The demonstration, organized by the Telangana unit of the BJP, began at 4:00 pm along Tank Bund, proceeding from the Swami Vivekananda statue to the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue. The event aimed to galvanize the state BJP cadre against the ruling Congress administration in Telangana.

Telangana BJP State Chief Spokesperson NV Subhash described the campaign as a counter-narrative to the INDIA bloc's campaign and an effort to combat what he termed false propaganda. BJP leader Guduru Narayana Reddy stated the rally was intended to counter the ruling Congress government in the state.
