Israel Kills Multiple Hamas Operatives in Gaza Airstrikes
The Israel Defense Forces eliminated several Hamas operatives in Gaza, including individuals involved in the October 7 attacks and those violating a ceasefire agreement.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a series of targeted airstrikes across the Gaza Strip between October 20 and October 22, eliminating several Hamas operatives. In Jabalia, northern Gaza, the IDF and Shin Bet killed Tamer Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Zabaq, identified as the final member of the Hamas cell responsible for the abduction of Shani Louk during the October 7 attacks. Israeli officials stated Al-Zabaq had violated a 2025 ceasefire by planning attacks against civilians and rebuilding military capabilities.
In Gaza City, the IDF killed Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin, a senior official in Hamas's General Security Mechanism responsible for intelligence and protecting leadership. Gaza health officials reported that Tuesday's strikes across the territory killed at least seven Palestinians, including Yassin's wife. The military also eliminated Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda, a Nukhba unit member accused of a 2025 explosive attack that killed four Israeli tank crew soldiers.
Further operations in Khan Younis resulted in the deaths of commander Muad Gamal Abu Nuseira and observation unit member Mahmoud Ibrahim Dib Alyan. Additionally, the IDF killed Saqr Nabil Musa Qaisi, a Nukhba operative involved in the October 7 attacks who allegedly used a leadership role in the Turkish organization Deniz Feneri to provide financial support to Hamas.
