Aya Gold & Silver Reports Record Q2 Production

Aya Gold & Silver Inc. reported record consolidated production of 1.68 million silver equivalent ounces (Moz AgEq) for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a 61% increase year-over-year. The results were led by the Zgounder Silver Mine, which produced 1.49 Moz Ag, and the Boumadine pyrite reclaiming operation, which added 0.19 Moz AgEq.

The company reached record operational milestones with mining rates of 4,880 tonnes per day and processing rates of 3,889 tonnes per day. President and CEO Benoit La Salle attributed these results to disciplined execution and optimization initiatives, stating that the performance positions the company to meet its 2026 production targets.

Looking forward, the company plans to complete the second phase of the Zgounder tailings storage facility in early Q3-2026. Additionally, it expects to transition to bulk shipments for Boumadine pyrite during the second half of 2026.
