Spirit Christmas Expands to 44 Stores Across 15 States

Spirit Halloween is expanding its seasonal spinoff, Spirit Christmas, to 44 locations across 15 states for the 2026 holiday season, an increase from 30 stores last year. The rollout includes a move into the South with new locations in Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee. While the parent company operates Spirit Halloween stores in all 50 states, the Christmas concept remains limited; for example, no stores are planned for Texas, leaving Nashville, Tennessee, as the nearest location for residents of Deep East Texas.

In the Northeast, the company will open four new stores in November across New York and Massachusetts. Three locations will open in Dartmouth, Natick, and North Attleboro, Massachusetts. In Albany, New York, a store will open during the first week of November at the Colonie Center. This Albany location, which occupies a former Christmas Tree Shops space, follows a two-year delay after the city was removed from the initial 2024 launch lineup.

The stores will transition from Halloween shops to holiday destinations selling festive decor, apparel, and large animatronics, such as Snow Miser and Heat Miser. The Albany location will also feature interactive experiences including Inflatable Land and the Candy Cane Express. This expansion coincides with a broader plan by the parent company to open approximately 1,500 Spirit Halloween pop-up stores nationwide this fall.
