Tesco PLC Urges Millions to Claim Unused Clubcard Vouchers

Tesco PLC launched a campaign alerting Clubcard members that over 500,000 shoppers have at least £100 in unspent vouchers waiting in their accounts.

Tesco PLC launched the "Know What You Are Sitting On" campaign to encourage millions of Clubcard members to check their accounts for unused rewards. The supermarket revealed that more than 500,000 shoppers have accumulated at least £100 in unspent vouchers, with over 95,000 individuals holding £200 or more.

The company noted that many of its 24 million UK household members prioritize immediate savings through "Clubcard Prices" and overlook points that accumulate in the background. While these vouchers can be used for fuel or in-store discounts, Tesco PLC highlighted that exchanging them with over 100 Reward Partners can double or triple their value. For instance, £100 in vouchers can be converted into £300 for use at seven major restaurant chains, including PizzaExpress, as well as for Disney+ subscriptions, Railcards, easyJet holidays, and cinema tickets.

Tesco PLC is directing users to its mobile app to manage these vouchers and access personalized offers. Shama Wilson, the Group Membership and Loyalty Director, urged customers to check their accounts to avoid missing out on significant savings on meals, travel, and entertainment.
