Tech Mahindra Partners With SpaceXSI for AI-Powered Engineering

Tech Mahindra partnered with SpaceXSI on Thursday to provide global enterprises with AI-assisted software engineering. The collaboration integrates SpaceXSI's Grok Build coding agent into Tech Mahindra's engineering transformation and application modernization services, marking the first partnership between a major Indian IT firm and the AI division of SpaceX.

The initiative targets sectors including telecommunications, banking, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail. By combining Tech Mahindra's AI consulting capabilities with SpaceXSI's platform, the companies aim to shorten development cycles and modernize legacy applications while maintaining enterprise governance, security, and compliance.

To support the rollout, Tech Mahindra will establish certification programs and a scalable alliance framework. The two organizations plan to execute joint go-to-market initiatives and customer success programs to implement AI-native development practices across large engineering teams. Sumit Kumar Popli of Tech Mahindra noted that enterprises are moving beyond isolated experiments to embed intelligence across the entire software development lifecycle.
