Aarti Industries Reports 260% Profit Surge in Q1 FY27

Aarti Industries Limited reported a 260% year-on-year profit increase for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, despite geopolitical disruptions in West Asia.

Aarti Industries Limited reported consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, featuring revenue of 2,627 crore and a profit after tax of 155 crore. This represents a 260% increase year-on-year, while EBITDA grew approximately 79% due to an optimized product mix, inventory management, and forex gains.

Geopolitical tensions in West Asia caused volume degrowth, disrupted supply chains, and increased freight and raw material costs, particularly within the company's Energy business. To counteract these challenges, the company redirected export volumes to other international markets.

Despite labor constraints delaying the chlorotoluene value chain projects and the Zone IV expansion by four to six months, the company expanded its Fuel Additives capacity to 360 KTPA in July 2026. The organization maintains its capital expenditure guidance of 700-800 crore for FY27. Chief Executive Officer Suyog Kotecha noted that while disruptions affected first-quarter volumes, the company expects a recovery in the second quarter as demand scenarios improve.
