Likud Accuses Arab Parties of Stealing Knesset Election

The Likud party has demanded investigations into alleged widespread fraud, bribery, and voter manipulation by Arab political parties during the recent Knesset elections.

The Likud party has accused Arab political parties of stealing the Knesset election through a campaign of widespread fraud, bribery, intimidation, and ballot manipulation. In a statement following Tuesday's vote, Likud alleged that prohibited software was used to mobilize voters and that thousands of envelopes containing cash were distributed to influence votes for the Ra'am party.

Likud has submitted evidence to the Israel Police, the Israel Security Agency, and the Central Elections Committee, demanding a thorough investigation into these alleged criminal offenses. Simcha Rothman of the Religious Zionist Party joined the call for an urgent probe into the use of cash and fuel cards for bribery. The Central Elections Committee confirmed it is examining the complaints as part of its routine integrity review.

Rahat Mayor Talal al-Krenawi rejected the allegations, characterizing the claims as lies and incitement against the Bedouin community. Al-Krenawi asserted that the elections were exceptionally clean and that voters used proper identification and ballot papers for the first time in history.
