Jeremy Zimmer Launches Twitch Show for AI-Displaced Job Seekers

Jeremy Zimmer and Rachel Braun launched the Twitch show 877UNMPLYD to provide career guidance for graduates facing an AI-disrupted entry-level job market.

Former United Talent Agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer and producer Rachel Braun launched 877UNMPLYD, a Twitch show designed to provide career guidance for job seekers in a contracting entry-level market. The initiative is a partnership between the Schultz Family Foundation and TikTok creator Adam Faze, offering live call-ins and advice to graduates and displaced workers.

The program responds to a labor market heavily disrupted by artificial intelligence. A report from the Partnership for New York City found that entry-level job postings in writing, media, and design have fallen by 40.6% due to AI exposure. Judith Dubin, head of content at the Schultz Family Foundation, noted that the current marketplace is disrupted and that these shifts create an additional barrier for young people.

The first season of the show consisted of 12 episodes and featured a live event at Baruch College. During the event, Zimmer and Braun fielded questions from students under the banner Ask a CEO, addressing the challenges of navigating modern employment.
