Sadyr Japarov, President of Kyrgyzstan, met with Speaker of the National Assembly Cho Jeong-sik in Seoul to discuss the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation. During the meeting, Cho reported that trade turnover between the two nations has doubled, a growth rate that positions Kyrgyzstan as the second-largest trading partner for South Korea among Central Asian countries.
The two leaders focused on increasing investment and business contacts to sustain this trajectory. Their discussions centered on expanding cooperation across several key sectors, specifically trade, technology, infrastructure, and investment. Both nations intend to create new commercial opportunities for their respective companies to further strengthen economic ties.
