Evolution AB Expands Online Gaming Presence in Alberta Market

The Government of Alberta has transitioned its online gaming industry from a single-operator model to a regulated commercial market. Previously, regulated online gaming was exclusive to the government-run PlayAlberta platform, managed by Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis. Under the new framework, licensed commercial operators can now offer services directly to players.

Evolution AB is expanding its presence in the province to capitalize on this shift. Having provided Live Casino and online slot content to PlayAlberta since 2021, the company is now extending its portfolio to include game shows and First Person titles through agreements with these new commercial operators. This move aligns with a broader strategy to support newly regulated jurisdictions across North America.
