Honeywell Forecasts 14,150 New Business Aircraft Deliveries by 2035
Honeywell Aerospace predicts a 29% increase in the global business aviation fleet through 2035, driven by higher aircraft utilization and expanding international demand.
Honeywell Aerospace released its 35th Global Business Aviation Outlook for 2025-35, forecasting the delivery of 9,950 new business jets and 4,200 turboprops worldwide over the next decade. This projection represents a 4.4% increase over the previous year's forecast when adjusted for scope. The company expects the global business aviation fleet to grow by 29% and total flight hours to increase by 34% by 2035.
Growth is primarily driven by higher aircraft utilization within fractional ownership and charter models. While North America remains the largest market, Honeywell identified rising demand across Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, specifically in India. Conversely, the company noted that ongoing conflict in the Middle East has disrupted regional development and flight operations.
To provide a more comprehensive market view, the updated forecast now incorporates personal jets and turboprops. Linnea Whisler, President of Commercial Original Equipment at Honeywell Aerospace, stated that owners and operators are expanding fleets and investing in innovations to drive sector growth.
