Voters in multiple states began casting ballots for the November 3 midterm elections, with high turnout reported in Virginia and new digital tools launched in Florida.

Early voting for the November 3, 2026, midterm elections has commenced across the United States, with varying schedules and turnout levels reported across several states. In Maine, voting began as early as October 16 in Bangor. Texas opened its polls on October 19, with early voting running through October 30 in Montgomery, Potter, and Randall counties. In Florida, early voting began October 19 in counties including Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Indian River, with deadlines ranging from October 31 to November 1.

Wendy Sartory Link, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, introduced the "Vote Palm Beach" mobile app to help residents track ballots and find polling sites. In Virginia, early voting is nearing its October 31 deadline with turnout exceeding previous cycles. In Lynchburg, over 6,600 ballots have been cast, while Danville reports that turnout has doubled compared to the 2022 midterms.
