Berkshire Hathaway Concentrates 41.7% of Portfolio in AI Companies
Berkshire Hathaway holds 41.7% of its $357 billion stock portfolio in Apple, Alphabet, and Coca-Cola as it pivots toward artificial intelligence.
Berkshire Hathaway has concentrated 41.7% of its $357 billion stock portfolio in three companies utilizing artificial intelligence: Apple, Alphabet, and Coca-Cola. This strategy follows the retirement of Warren Buffett at the end of 2025 and the transition of leadership to CEO Greg Abel.
Apple remains the conglomerate's largest holding at 21.7% of the portfolio, supported by the rollout of its consumer-facing Apple Intelligence suite. Alphabet represents 10.2% of the holdings. While the position was initiated in 2025, Greg Abel increased the stake sixfold during 2026 to a total value of $36.3 billion.
The Coca-Cola Company accounts for 9.8% of the portfolio. The beverage giant is integrating AI into its supply chains and marketing, which includes a $1.1 billion agreement to use Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to accelerate its AI transformation.
