Apple is developing the iPhone Air 2, an ultra-thin smartphone expected to launch in the first half of 2027. The device is rumored to debut alongside the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e.
Leaked reports indicate the phone will be 5.2 mm thick, representing a 0.4 mm reduction from the original iPhone Air and matching the unfolded thickness of the iPhone Duo. Despite the slimmer chassis, the device is expected to feature an increased battery capacity of 3,500 mAh, up from 3,149 mAh in the previous model.
Additional rumored specifications include the A20 Pro chip, a titanium frame, and a smaller Dynamic Island. The hardware is also expected to include a 48MP ultrawide rear camera. Apple has not officially confirmed these details.
