Business Insider Names 25 Rising Stars of Wall Street

Business Insider identified 25 finance professionals under 35, noting a surge in Ivy League education and a strategic shift toward artificial intelligence.

Business Insider identified 25 finance professionals aged 27 to 35 as the Rising Stars of Wall Street. The cohort, with an average age of 32, consists of managing directors, principals, and portfolio managers working across private equity firms, hedge funds, and investment banks.

The group demonstrates a strong trend toward elite education and established institutions. Eleven members attended Ivy League universities, more than double the five graduates from the previous year, with the University of Pennsylvania as the most represented school. Nearly half of the honorees began their careers at four major firms: Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, or Bank of America.

Industry shifts toward artificial intelligence are evident in the selection, as 10 members focus on AI infrastructure, AI-powered investment strategies, or direct investments in AI companies. While 20 of the 25 professionals are based in New York City, others operate in Houston, San Francisco, and Miami.
