Israeli Forces Kill Nine Palestinians in Gaza Strip Attacks

Israeli forces killed at least nine Palestinians during drone strikes in Gaza City and al-Mawasi, while displacement tent fires claimed two infants.

Israeli forces killed at least nine Palestinians in a series of attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday. A drone strike in al-Mawasi, a designated humanitarian safe zone west of Khan Yunis, killed five people and wounded several others. In northern Gaza, a separate strike in the Remal neighborhood of Gaza City targeted the Taj Mall, killing three Palestinians, including a child.

Beyond direct military action, two infants died on Saturday from burns sustained during a fire at a displacement tent in al-Mawasi. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Gaza's Government Media Office report that severe shortages of cooking gas and the use of unfit tents have increased the risk of deadly fires among the displaced population.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza reported over 1,570 Palestinians killed and 5,680 wounded as of October 29. The United Nations Office on Human Rights stated that Israel has never stopped killing and injuring Palestinians or causing repeated displacement.
