Lasertec Reports Annual Earnings Decline Despite Positive 2027 Forecast

Lasertec Corporation reported a decrease in full-year earnings, totaling JPY 77.485 billion, down from JPY 84.652 billion in the previous year. This decline resulted in earnings per share of JPY 862.26, compared to JPY 937.82 in the prior period.

Annual revenue fell 8.3% to JPY 230.485 billion, a drop from the JPY 251.477 billion recorded the year before.

Despite the current downturn in performance, the company issued a positive forecast for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. Lasertec projects net sales of JPY 290.000 billion and basic net income per share of JPY 1,004.12.
