Nvidia Unveils RTX Spark AI Chips for Windows PCs

Nvidia announced the RTX Spark chip for Windows PCs, with Acer and Lenovo launching compatible hardware in October to enable local agentic AI workflows.

Nvidia Inc. announced that Acer and Lenovo will launch the first Windows PCs powered by its new RTX Spark chip in October. Unveiled at the IFA 2026 tech show in Berlin, the RTX Spark is a system-on-a-chip developed in collaboration with MediaTek and Microsoft that integrates a Blackwell GPU with a Grace CPU.

The hardware aims to run agentic AI workflows locally to enhance data privacy and lower cloud expenses. Among the first products are the Acer SFF RTX Spark mini PC, featuring 128 GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of AI performance, and Lenovo's Yoga 9n 2-in-1 and Yoga Pro 9n laptops.

Other manufacturers, including Dell, Asus, Microsoft, and HP, are expected to release RTX Spark-powered laptops later this fall. In a separate move, Lenovo announced the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a competing device powered by AMD starting at $3,699.
