San Jose and Alameda County Report June Real Estate Sales

Public records show residential real estate sales in San Jose and Alameda County for the week of June 22, with average prices between $1.3 million and $1.5 million.

Public records for the week of June 22 reveal residential real estate activity across San Jose and Alameda County. In San Jose, 47 homes sold for an average of $1.5 million, or $967 per square foot. The highest transaction in the city was a 5,689-square-foot home on Peregrino Drive that sold for $5.6 million on June 15. Other notable sales included properties on Forest Glen Drive and Iris Court priced at $2.9 million and $2.6 million, respectively.

In Alameda County, 211 residential sales were recorded with a lower average price of $1.3 million and an average of $739 per square foot. The most expensive sale in the county was a 4,068-square-foot home in Piedmont that sold for $5,712,500. High-value transactions also occurred in Oakland and Fremont, with homes selling for $5 million and $4.4 million. While these titles were recorded in late June, the actual transactions for the Alameda County properties were completed between May 12 and May 15.
