The Police Service Commission approved the deployment of eight Commissioners of Police to various state commands and appointed Assistant Inspector-General of Police Auwal Musa Mohammed as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano. These actions, decided during a Wednesday meeting, aim to address operational exigencies created by the promotion of previous commissioners.

The newly deployed officers include CP Afolabi Wilfred Olutokunbo to Abia, CP Ayodeji Faniyan to Plateau, CP Saka Adewale Ajao to Bayelsa, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue to Cross River, CP Nnanna Oji Ama to Anambra, CP Patrick Daaor to Edo, CP Tijani Murtala to Jigawa, and CP Samuel Erale Etaifo to Delta State.

Retired Justice Paul Adamu Galumje presided over the session and instructed the officers to remain professional, impartial, and neutral in their duties while upholding the rule of law.
