Democratic candidate David Crowley holds a slight lead over Republican Tom Tiffany in the race for Wisconsin governor, according to two separate polls released August 26. A Marquette University Law School Poll of 891 registered voters shows Crowley leading Tiffany 49% to 44% among likely voters, though the candidates remain tied at 44% each among all registered voters.

Crowley maintains a significant advantage among likely independent voters, leading 55% to 16%.
