Applied Optoelectronics Reports Fifth Consecutive Quarter of Record Revenue
Applied Optoelectronics returned to non-GAAP profitability in the second quarter of 2026 while reporting its fifth straight quarter of record revenue.
Applied Optoelectronics Inc. reported its fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue for the second quarter of 2026. The company achieved a return to non-GAAP profitability during this period.
CEO Thompson Lin stated that the company generated record revenue for the fifth straight quarter and reached the milestone of returning to non-GAAP profitability. For the third quarter, the company provided a revenue guidance range between $255 million and $290 million.
Lin noted that near-term revenue growth is currently limited by capacity constraints. These constraints are specifically associated with the ramp-up of the company's 800G products.
