Delta Air Lines Launches First Nonstop Austin to Paris Route

Delta Air Lines will launch the first-ever nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport starting March 27, 2027. The daily summer-season flights will utilize Airbus A330-900neo aircraft and offer four cabin options, including Delta One and Delta Premium Select. This route establishes Delta as the only U.S. carrier providing nonstop service from Austin to Europe.

Through a partnership with Air France-KLM, passengers can connect from Paris to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India, and Africa. The airline has designated Austin as a top non-hub focus city and expects to serve approximately 30 destinations with over 70 peak-day departures by summer 2027. To support this growth, Delta plans to add 15 gates and a second, larger Sky Club lounge at the Austin airport.

Beyond the Paris route, Delta is expanding its domestic and regional footprint. Starting April 12, 2027, the airline will launch nonstop service to San Diego and add a second daily flight to San Jose, California. Additionally, the existing route to Cancun will transition to year-round service. Mayor Kirk Watson stated the new route would bring the two communities closer together, while Delta executives described the expansion as a defining milestone for the region.
