Asim Munir Vows Continued Targeted Operations Against Terrorists
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir announced that Pakistan will maintain targeted operations to eliminate terrorist networks and foreign-sponsored proxies in Balochistan.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, announced that Pakistan will continue targeted operations against Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan. Speaking at the 20th National Workshop Balochistan at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Munir stated that intelligence-led operations would persist until terrorist networks and their facilitators are eliminated from the country.
Munir accused foreign-sponsored proxies of attempting to fuel violence and undermine stability within Balochistan. He emphasized that the military would focus on dismantling terrorist infrastructure that threatens national security, while noting that lasting peace in the province requires collaboration between security forces and the public.
Alongside security measures, Munir highlighted the role of federal and provincial development initiatives. He stated these efforts are intended to transform the socio-economic landscape of Balochistan to support long-term stability.
