Israel Kills Two Senior Hamas Commanders in Gaza Strip

The Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet announced Tuesday the elimination of two senior Hamas commanders in separate operations. In a strike conducted over the weekend in Gaza City, Israeli forces killed Adham Ibrahim Sha'aban Nasman, the head of the operations department for the Hamas Gaza City Brigade. Nasman previously served as a Nukhba Battalion commander and intelligence officer, directing forces during the October 7 infiltration and overseeing the captivity of several Israeli hostages.

Israeli officials stated Nasman had recently violated a ceasefire agreement by training terrorists and distributing weapons to restore Hamas military capabilities. In a separate operation, the military eliminated Asma Kamal Shehadeh Abu Tim, a cell commander in the Hamas military wing. Abu Tim is accused of infiltrating Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7 and abducting individuals, including Nurit Cooper, Amiram Cooper, and Alexander Dancyg, some of whom were later murdered in captivity.

Hamas has not issued a comment regarding these claims.
