Republicans Brian Jack and Brian Mast Win Reelection
Republican Representatives Brian Jack and Brian Mast won reelection to their respective congressional seats in Georgia and Florida during the 2026 midterm elections.
Republican candidates secured key victories in the 2026 midterm elections on Tuesday night. In Georgia, Brian Jack won reelection to a second term in the state's 3rd congressional district, defeating Democratic challenger Maura Keller. Jack, a former senior advisor to Donald Trump's 2024 campaign, first won the west-central Georgia seat in 2024 after incumbent Drew Ferguson declined to run.
In Florida, Brian Mast won reelection to the 21st Congressional District, a newly redrawn area covering parts of Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. Mast, a U.S. Army veteran and chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, defeated Democratic challenger James Martin, Independent candidate Alexander Cooke, and write-in candidate David Fabrikant.
Mast campaigned on national security, veterans' issues, and tax relief. He specifically highlighted the management of Lake Okeechobee water levels as a primary daily priority. His opponent, Martin, a former national security official in the Biden administration, focused his campaign on affordability and criticized Mast's attempts to repeal portions of the Affordable Care Act.
