Israel Defense Forces Kill Three Hamas Commanders in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces conducted precise strikes in the Gaza Strip to eliminate a sniper commander and two Nukhba company leaders.

The Israel Defense Forces executed a series of precise aerial strikes in the Gaza Strip between Tuesday and Wednesday to eliminate high-ranking Hamas commanders. The operations targeted individuals accused of violating ceasefire agreements by rebuilding military infrastructure and planning attacks against Israeli forces and civilians.

On Wednesday, the military killed Omar Ahmed Abu Qasem, a Battalion Sniper Commander in central Gaza. The IDF reported that Abu Qasem had participated in attacks against troops and attempted to reestablish Hamas military capabilities. Previously, on Tuesday, the IDF eliminated two Nukhba commanders in northern Gaza: Ali Shamlakh, a deputy company commander responsible for training operatives, and Nasser Louh, the head of a Nukhba cell in the Sabra Battalion.

Following these strikes, the IDF stated that troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the region to remove immediate threats in accordance with the existing ceasefire agreement.
