T-Mobile Launches 36-Month Financing and Rebranded Unlimited Plans
T-Mobile introduced a 36-month equipment installment plan, rebranded its unlimited postpaid plans as 2.0 versions, and launched new Student Perks discounts.
T-Mobile US introduced a new 36-month equipment installment plan called Equipment Installment Plan Flex 36, which allows customers to roll the cost of devices, taxes, and fees into monthly payments over three years with zero upfront cost.
To accompany this financing option, the company rebranded its unlimited postpaid mobile plans as 2.0 versions. The Experience Beyond, Experience More, and Essentials plans maintain the same base pricing and features as previous versions but are now designed to pair with the extended 36-month payment term.
Additionally, the carrier launched Student Perks discounts. These include the Essentials Saver plan starting at $30 per month when using AutoPay. T-Mobile also introduced a 5G Home Internet bundle for students priced at $30 per month, which includes up to $200 in virtual prepaid card credit.
