Security Threats Force Cancellation of Ohio SAVE America Rally

The SAVE America Act Rally scheduled for Monday in Strongsville, Ohio, was canceled following a series of security threats. Shannon Burns, chairman of the Strongsville GOP, announced the decision after consulting with the venue and law enforcement officials.

Burns stated that the number and nature of the threats made the event untenable and that organizers could not responsibly expose guests, attendees, and law enforcement to an unacceptable safety risk. The rally was intended to feature U.S. Representatives Max Miller and Anna Paulina Luna in support of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, a Republican proposal requiring proof of U.S. citizenship for federal election registration.

While characterizing the cancellation as an act of political intimidation, Burns asserted that the threats would not weaken the movement's commitment to election integrity or silence the organizers.
