Euro Tech Forms Joint Venture to Expand in Europe

Euro Tech signed a 50/50 joint venture agreement with Norway-based Sea Clean AS to expand its ballast water treatment operations into Scandinavia and the broader European market. The new entity, CleanPACT Environmental and Marine Engineering AS, will focus on the showcasing and servicing of the PortoBallast mobile hybrid ballast water treatment system.

Sea Clean AS is currently commissioning the PortoBallast system at its port site in Torvastad, Norway. The partnership aims to leverage this installation as a foundation for regional growth.

Following the announcement of the agreement, Euro Tech saw its stock price increase by approximately 22% during pre-market trading on Monday.
