Kailash Vijayvargiya Denies Calling Students Insects

Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya denied allegations from opposition leader Umang Singhar that he referred to students as insects.

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has denied allegations that he referred to students as insects (keeda). The accusation was made by Umang Singhar, the state Leader of Opposition, who claimed the remarks appeared in a video on the minister's official social media handle and during Assembly proceedings.

Singhar argued that the language insulted the youth and suggested they were causing national instability. In response, Vijayvargiya dismissed the claims as baseless attempts to tarnish his image and announced his intention to file a defamation case against the Congress leader.

The political dispute unfolds amid broader nationwide unrest over NEET paper leak issues. This includes a hunger strike by activist Sonam Wangchuk and the Chalo Sansad march to Parliament on July 20, which resulted in heavy police action.
