Pandora Opens $150 Million Factory in Vietnam
Pandora CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier announced a new $150 million factory in Vietnam to increase global production capacity by 50 percent.
Pandora is expanding its global manufacturing footprint with the opening of a $150 million factory in Vietnam. This facility marks the company's first production site outside Thailand and is expected to employ 7,000 people. The new plant will increase global manufacturing capacity by approximately 50 percent, with the ability to produce 60 million pieces annually.
CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier described the investment as a long-term strategic move to meet global demand, despite potential risks regarding U.S. tariffs. To further mitigate economic volatility, the company will shift about half of its product line from silver to platinum-plated jewellery starting next year to reduce exposure to fluctuating silver prices.
Financial forecasts for 2026 organic revenue growth have been raised to 3 percent. This update comes as growth in Asia, particularly in Japan, offsets stabilized but lower demand in the United States, which remains the company's largest market. The company previously opened an online distribution center in Canada in March to bypass U.S. customs.
