Kauaʻi Police Announce Road Closures for Koloa Plantation Days

The Kauaʻi Police Department announced temporary road closures in Koloa scheduled for July 25 to accommodate the annual Historic Koloa Plantation Days Parade. Poʻipu Road and Koloa Road will be closed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., while Maluhia Road will remain closed from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Police officers will manage intersections until 5 p.m., at which point a private security company will take over maintenance of the closure on Maluhia Road. Motorists are advised to use Ala Kalanikaumaka and Ala Kinoiki for travel in and out of Po‘ipu and should expect traffic delays during the event.
