Veeva Systems shares surged as much as 20.9% on August 27, 2026, after the company reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 results that exceeded analyst expectations. For the quarter ending July 31, the cloud software company reported revenue of $928 million, representing an 18% year-over-year increase, and adjusted earnings per share of $2.35.

These results surpassed consensus estimates of $905 million in revenue and $2.22 earnings per share. The growth was driven by a 16% increase in subscription revenue, which reached $767 million, alongside the expansion of the company's Vault CRM, Vault AI, and Falcon platforms within the life sciences sector.

Following the strong quarterly performance, management raised its full-year fiscal 2027 guidance. The company now forecasts a total revenue midpoint of $3.69 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $9.21, increasing the previous projections of $3.64 billion and $9.05, respectively.
